I got this for my kids, ages 4 1/2 and 3, for a calming activity. It's been a total success. They both are very willing to do it when they need to 'calm their body'. My 3 year old, especially, finds it useful as he tends to be rather dramatic and upset easily. It is of good quality and pleasant to look at so I have no problem leaving it out on the table for easy access.
