Oh boy, do the kids love these. They get to flex their creative, artsy side while still practicing their parts of speech.
This downloadable .PDF comes with two pages of two different styles of sentence strips. Each page has three strips that are to be cut out and taped into the child’s writing journal. One page is for younger kids who may not have learned their parts of speech, but are learning to write sentences and words with assistance. The next page is for students who are learning or have learned their parts of speech: Articles, Adjective, Nouns, Verbs, and Prepositions/Prepositional Phrases. Each part of speech title is also colored to match the Montessori curriculum colors. This does not, however, take away from the lesson if you’re NOT using the Montessori curriculum.
