The Indigo Teacher’s Colored Bead Stair Journal features circles instead of square graphs so children have a better representation of recording their math work accomplished with the colored bead stair. The child can easily count and color in the circles, or fill the circles in with the number that represents the given bead bar.
The circles are more visually appealing and are designed specifically for the use with the colored bead stair, but be creative with other possibilities! This journal may be used in conjunction with the Colored Bead Stair Paper, which is used as looseleaf.
The Colored Bead Stair Journal is meant to remain in the classroom and to follow the child throughout his or her experiences with the Colored Bead Stair – from the initial lesson of one-to-one correspondence, making tens, the snake game, addition, and subtraction, to rectangular arrays, and the amazing checkerboard.
This product is a downloadable PDF file that will not expire from this site, so you can reprint the pages to fill the journal as often as you need to. Please follow your printer’s instructions on how to double-side print on a booklet.
